About

What is GWOP?

Work and Organizational Psychology associations around the world have traditionally run their own conferences, each reaching only their own members. G-WOP was formed to change that: one conference, open at the same time to members of every participating association, rather than more than 25 separate events running in parallel. The conference runs as a single continuous stream for 24 hours, moving through every time zone so members can join at whatever hour suits them, rather than a fixed one. Every session is recorded and stays available to members of participating organizations afterward.

G-WOP 2025 was the consortium's first year. It drew more than 2,300 registrants from dozens of countries, and the recordings are still online.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Who can attend G-WOP?

Access runs through membership in one of the 25+ participating associations. If you’re not currently a
member of one of them, joining IIBP is the way in for India-based professionals and students.

I’m a member of another G-WOP association, not IIBP. How do I register?

Register through your own association rather than through IIBP. Each participating organization
registers its own members and sends them their access details directly.

Is there a cost to attend?

No. G-WOP is free for current IIBP members. Registration closes September 15, 2026.

What platform does the conference run on, and when do I get my access link?

Zoom. Your access link is sent after you register through IIBP, ahead of the conference.

The conference runs while I’d normally be asleep. Will I miss it?

G-WOP runs as one continuous stream for 24 hours specifically so it crosses every time zone. Every
session is also recorded and stays available to registered members afterward, so a session outside your
hours isn’t lost.

Can I watch sessions from G-WOP 2025?

Yes. The 2025 recordings are public and still online.

Do I need to register separately for the Career Fair?

Yes. It’s a separate day from the Global Conference, so register for it separately through IIBP.

How can our organization take part in the Career Fair as an employer?

Participating employers get a 30–45 minute spotlight slot, usually with an optional Q&A and
networking afterward. Recruiting isn’t required. Sharing your work and advice with attendees is enough.
Contact IIBP to be put in touch with the G-WOP career fair team.

How can my university host a G-WOP Watch Party?

Watch parties are organized through a participating association and its affiliated academic programs.
Contact IIBP directly and they can connect you with the right process.

G-WOP is organized collectively by its participating associations, including IIBP. More information is shared directly through participating organizations as the conference approaches.
