Experiential exercise to be mindfully aware

Most of the times we are so used to the tasks that we are performing everyday that we don’t take a moment to appreciate the simple acts that we are able to perform. If it is as simple as drinking a glass of water, eating a piece of toast or even having a cup of tea/coffee at the end of the day, it feels so routine and mundane that we take it for granted.

Ms. Gupta teaches us, in this short video, an exercise that allows us to become aware of the interacting of external stimuli with our senses and how we should appreciate it more, no matter how effortless the task may seem to us. Beauty lies in the simplicity of the matter and this exercise reminds us how lucky we are every day.
