Description of the Test
The GMA series of tests is designed to discriminate between candidates in the upper 12.5 percent of the adult ability range. They are intended for use in the assessment and selection of graduates, the identification of management and promotion potential, and the recruitment of A level school leavers capable of higher-level education. The GMA has three tests - Verbal, Numerical and Abstract (non-verbal) Reasoning - with two versions (forms A and B) for each test. Though published as a series, each test has a distinct rationale behind it and the three tests can be used separately or in combination, as required.
