Description of the Test:
The PPM is a set of nine sub-tests designed to be used as a differential aptitude battery. he distinction between Power and Performance is similar to that between fluid and crystallised ability and does not refer to the more obvious comparison with power and speed tests. The PPM Power tests are four reasoning tests (Applied Power; Verbal, Numerical and Perceptual Reasoning), while the Performance tests comprise Verbal Comprehension; Numerical Comprehension; Spatial Ability; Mechanical Understanding; and Processing Speed. The sub-tests are intended for use singly, in various combinations, or all together, depending on the reason for testing.
